Screenshots are missing

Every pin saves a screenshot of what you saw. Chrome allows it because you started the pin yourself, from New pin in the Sitemark popup or with Alt Shift C.

"Isn't Sitemark's shortcut in Chrome right now"#

If you see this note when you press Alt Shift C, Chrome gave that shortcut to another extension, or it was changed. Sitemark doesn't start the pin, because Chrome wouldn't let it take the screenshot. Either:

• start the pin from the Sitemark icon → New pin, or
• give Sitemark a free shortcut: in the popup, open Settings → Change shortcuts. See Keyboard shortcuts.

If a pin saved without one#

You'll see a note on the page when this happens. The usual causes:

• The upload didn't get through, on a slow or interrupted connection. Sitemark retries a few times first.
• You switched tabs the moment you saved, so Chrome had nothing of this page to capture.

The pin keeps its comment, page and element either way. To add a picture, open the pin in the dashboard and click Upload an image. Owners and editors can do this.
