Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Sitemark web app at sitemark.in and the Sitemark Chrome extension (together, “Sitemark”). Sitemark is provided by Better Labs Private Limited, 642, Green Park, Ranjit Avenue, Phase-1, Bulara Gill, Ludhiana, Punjab 141116, India(“we”, “us”). These terms are written to be read. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@sitemark.in.

Signing in is agreeing. Sitemark has no separate sign-up form. When you continue with Google or with an email sign-in link, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy, and you confirm you are at least 13 years old.

1. Who can use Sitemark

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • If you use Sitemark for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
  • One person per account. Keep access to your email address secure — it is how you sign in.

2. Your content

Pins, notes, suggestions, comments, attachments, page notes and screenshots you create are your content. You keep ownership of it. You give Sitemark permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with.

When you invite people to a project, or turn on a project's public link, you choose to share that project's content with them. Owners and editors control who has access.

3. Reviewing websites

The extension captures screenshots and reads the structure of pages you choose to review. Only review sites you are allowed to review, and do not use Sitemark to capture pages containing other people's private information unless you have the right to. You are responsible for what you capture and share.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Sitemark to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
  • upload malware, or files you are not allowed to share;
  • harass people, or send spam through invitations;
  • probe, overload or interfere with Sitemark, or try to access projects or accounts that are not yours.

We may suspend accounts or remove content that breaks these rules.

5. Public share links

A public link lets anyone with the address read a project's report without signing in. You can add a password, regenerate the link, or turn it off at any time from the project's Share panel. Treat the link like the content it opens.

6. Plans and payments

  • Every account starts with a free 7-day trial. No card is needed. When it ends, your account becomes read-only until you choose a paid plan: you keep everything you created, but can't add new projects or pins.
  • Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance through Razorpay. They renew automatically until you cancel. Customers in India pay in Indian Rupees, with GST included in the price shown. Everyone else pays in US dollars.
  • Each plan has a limit on active projects and on new pins per month. Pin allowances reset every month, on yearly plans too, and unused pins don't roll over.
  • You can cancel anytime from Dashboard → Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal.

7. Leaving and deleting

You can leave any project, download a copy of your data, or delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & data. When you leave a project or delete your account, what you wrote in shared projects stays for the rest of the team but is shown as “Former member”. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. The service

Sitemark is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export exists for exactly that.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in users in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Sitemark after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a concern, please contact us first. We will try to resolve it within 30 days. Any dispute that can't be resolved this way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab, India.
