What is Sitemark?

Sitemark lets you leave feedback on the website itself. Instead of taking a screenshot, drawing an arrow and pasting it into a chat, you click the element that needs work and write a comment on it. Everyone on the project sees the pin in the same spot, on the same page.

How it fits together#

Sitemark has two parts that work together:

• The Chrome extension places pins and shows them on the websites you review. It only runs on sites you turn it on for.
• The dashboard at sitemark.in lists every pin across your projects on a board, where you can assign, prioritise and resolve them.

A pin and its thread are the same in both places. A reply written in the dashboard appears on the page straight away, and the other way round.

What a pin records#

Every pin saves more than the comment:

• the page URL and the element it's attached to
• the device, browser and window size it was placed on
• a screenshot of what you saw
• a severity, from Neutral to Critical, and a status, from To do to Done

So whoever picks it up sees exactly what you saw, without asking.

Who it's for#

Designers, developers, QA testers, product managers and clients who review websites. Clients join a project by invitation and only see the projects they're invited to.
