Pins aren't showing on the page

If a pin is on the project's board but you can't see it on the website, check these in order.

1. Is Sitemark on for this site?#

Click the Sitemark icon. If you see Enable here, Sitemark is off for this site. Press it. Remember that www.example.com and staging.example.com are separate sites. See Turn Sitemark on for a site.

2. Are you signed in?#

If the popup says Sign in to Sitemark, see The extension says I'm not signed in.

3. Are pins hidden or filtered?#

Open Sitemarks on this page. Check that the Status filter isn't hiding them (for example, set to Done only) and that pins aren't switched to hidden.

4. Is it on this page, and in this project?#

Pins belong to one page URL. The pin may be on a similar page with a different address. On the board, open the pin and click Open website to go straight to it. Also check you can see the project: private pins are visible only to their author.

5. Is the element on screen?#

A pin shows once its element is rendered. If it's inside a closed menu, an unopened tab or a carousel slide, open that first. Content lower on the page may only load as you scroll. See How pins stay in place.

6. Reload#

Reload the page. If the extension was just updated, pages that were already open need a reload before it can run on them.
