Turn Sitemark on for a site

Sitemark stays off on every website until you turn it on there. This keeps it out of the way on sites you're not reviewing.

Turn it on#

1. Open the website you want to review.
2. Click the Sitemark icon in Chrome's toolbar.
3. Press Enable here, then allow access when Chrome asks.

Existing pins for that site appear on the page straight away, and you can place new ones. You only need to do this once per site. It stays on for that site the next time you visit.

Which site does it cover?#

Access is per website address (its origin). https://www.example.com and https://staging.example.com are different sites, so enable each one you review. Local and password-protected staging sites work too: if your browser can open the page, Sitemark can pin on it.

Turn it off#

Right-click the Sitemark icon, choose This can read and change site data, and pick When you click the extension. Or remove the site under the extension's Site access in Chrome's extension settings. Your pins stay in the dashboard either way.
